CONCEPT

EN (pronounced "en," as in "end") takes its name from a Japanese sound shared by words meaning circle (円), connection (縁), and comfort (宴).

EN02 is a small light sculpture made of the two most basic forms, the line and the circle. It studies the tension and balance between them, and the moment where they meet and connect. It was developed during CHIKA's residency at the SVA Visible Futures Lab.
